These terms govern your use of Lovorithm. Plain-language summary at the top of each section, the enforceable rule underneath.
The service
Lovorithm is a marketplace for digital gifts. Creators list gifts; buyers claim them or send them to a recipient. We operate the platform, the payment rails, and the share-link delivery; the gift content itself belongs to the creator who authored it.
Your content
You retain ownership of the gifts you create. By publishing a listing, you grant Lovorithm a non-exclusive licence to host and deliver that gift to the buyer or recipient. You can unpublish a listing at any time; gifts already delivered remain live for the recipient unless you ask us to take them down.
Accounts
You need an account to buy or sell. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform (spam, fraud, harassment).
Purchases & refunds
Prices are listed in HKD or USD. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your card number. If a gift fails to deliver (broken share link, removed by the creator), email billing@lovorithm.app within 14 days for a full refund.
Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We will post incidents at /status and email subscribers when there is a material outage.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes get a 30-day notice via email and a banner in the app. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Hong Kong law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
